Continuing our new series right through our Emmy Week Giveaway this week’s muse is marketing associate Stephanie! Steph is an upcoming college junior majoring in Mathematics (wowzer, super smart!) and minoring in Business. When she’s not up to her neck in wedges, flats, pump, running sneakers, or Crocs here at Shoebuy, she enjoys making delicious treats for the office, running, walking to work in the morning, and spending time with friends. (She also can’t live without her morning iced mocha!) Enough of the generic background mumbo gumbo- time to focus on her fashion!
If you had to describe your personal style in one word or phrase what would it be?
“Classy. I like to keep things very subtle and modest. I’m not much of a flaunter- I prefer simple things that I know always work”
Who were you the most excited to see walk the red carpet at the Emmys?
“The whole entire Office staff! I mean cast! I obviously only associate the actors in the show with their characters so I’m super excited to see them decked out.”
If you were lucky enough to walk the red carpet what would you rock?
“This is going to be pretty predictable, but I’d wear an elegant really simple black dress accessorized with a standout belt for a little something extra, just a little pop! I’m not trying to be Worst Dressed so I’d rather play it safe!”
What are your shoe wardrobe staples?
“A go-to flip flop. It’s perfect for laundry day and just hanging out, totally functional and basic.” “The basic black flat is a MUST for me. I’m talking about the kind of shoe that can be worn with casual clothes but be just as easily dressed up for a more formal affair. Just a go-to piece that’s simple yet elegant.”

“A wedge: Most definitely. Wedges add a fresh spin to any outfit.”
“I’m shocked I didn’t mention this first! A good Athletic Sneaker is easily at the top of my list. My flat feet aren’t exactly built for the active lifestyle I enjoy keeping so a good solid running shoe is a staple in my shoe wardrobe. (I actually bought this exact pair from Shoebuy just last week! Love ‘em!)” “I think my final pick would be a simple black heel with a little something extra to polish off a weekend ensemble”

Biggest shoe pet peeve?
“There are a few things that I question in shoe fashion but my biggest pet peeve is wayyyy over the knee boots. I just don’t think I understand them because they are so not me”
What’s your favorite past trend you can’t let go of?
“I’ll never give up my leather hobo bag (or my iced mocha) for a wimpy clutch! Clutches may be more fashionable sometimes but where do you put everything, seriously?! In a purse I’m all about the functionality so a hobo is perfect”
