Primetime Shoebuy Awards Contest: The Nominees
Just in case you haven’t watched any television, looked at any magazines, or even hear or read at all, the Emmy Awards season is fast approaching. In two nights’ time, you’ll be finding most of America plopped down in front of their TVs to see if their favorite shows and actors are finally recognized by the academy and the public. While we could talk about the nominees and our thoughts on the programs that are up in the running, we are adding a spin to this festive season by holding our own Emmy Awards. However, instead of recognizing the qualities and skills of people, we will be recognizing the qualities and skills of shoes (obviously!). Although we don’t have a red carpet, a television broadcast, or fancy million-dollar gift bags, we want to award shoes that you, our readers, have a passion for. We want to take everyone’s votes into consideration, because as most people know, the only way to find the best is to listen to the public opinion. 1. Leave a comment on this Emmy post with your nominations for each category. Make sure to leave your email address so that we can contact you if you win! Contact information will remain private and will not be posted.
