Walk Down the Aisle in Style!
Whether you are planning your own festivities or just can’t help but notice all those Save-the-Date cards piling up, it’s hard not to realize that

So, Shoebuy is celebrating one of the unsung heroes of the wedding day: wedding shoes! Before I launch into my picks for favorites wedding shoes of the season, here is some basic advice to consider when selecting your shoes (also holds true for bridesmaids!):
1. Comfort, comfort, comfort! No matter how good the shoes look, you don’t want your special day ruined by hobbling down the aisle or wincing in all of your wedding pictures. Try not to stray too far from your everyday footwear. If you’re not a high heels type of girl, your wedding day is not the time to pretend!
2. Consider the season. Leather fabrics and closed toes may leave you sweltering in the summer months.
3. Buy your dress first! It is much, much harder to find a dress that compliments your shoes than vice-versa. Plus, you wouldn’t want to waste money on beautifully embellished shoes, only to find they they clash horribly with the detailing at the bottom of your gown.
4. Don’t wait until the last minute to buy your shoes! You may need to go through several pairs before you find the one that is the perfect mate for all of your needs, PLUS you may need to spend time breaking them in, PLUS many women like to practice their first dance in them! That’s a mighty large time frame to deal with, so be sure not to procrastinate on this one.
